Newspaper Poems - I Am Clickbait

Newspaper Poems – I Am Clickbait

I Am Clickbait is one of my newspaper poems, a tribute to the people who get caught in the headlines, trolled, and exploited.

I Am Clickbait

 Oh look, I am clickbait.
Fat print, graphic pics,
my linen lines your pockets.

Bare bones,
spilt guts,
oh look, I am clickbait.

Backers turn backstabbers,
liquidate morsels of flesh.
My linen lines your pockets.

Warts, wounds,
scars, scabs,
oh look, I am clickbait.

Tales twisted,
words warped,
oh look, I am clickbait.
My linen lines your pockets.
