I need some personal opinion from everyone, and I am looking for sincere and honest replies. I want to know whether hiring a ghostwriter for a fiction novel would be appropriate or not. I have been writing a novel that is based on crime and suspense fiction, but I am facing writer’s block so someone suggested me to hire some professional ghostwriters who can help me out skillfully. I want to hire them but I want to know more about ghostwriting before I actually hire one. It will be so helpful if anyone can kindly let me know whether or not I should hire a ghostwriter for my novel.

        Hi Charles,

I would suggest having someone assess and maybe edit what you’ve written so far. After all, you’ve started, and a neutral opinion may help you to overcome your current block.

Hiring a ghostwriter is an option you can consider but only as a last resort. You would have to spend a lot of time explaining the plot and characters to her/him. Plus, you would incur costs. If you’re lucky, you’ll find someone who can mimic your writing style and complete the novel for you. Finding someone who can, may not be that easy, so I’d veer towards overcoming your block.

        Best of luck!

        Anita
